Human Growth and Development (lifespan) is a field in Psychology which addresses all the psychological transitions, those are changes or ongoing processes that an individual experiments through his or her life. These processes involve physical, cognitive, emotional, and social changes.

Sometimes these changes can be very painful and be a long-lasting emotional process, where the individual can feel alone or overwhelmed and hopeless; affecting the individual’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in his or her daily life.
